We will soon encounter this poem in class. To prepare yourself, you will observe your tree for four weeks.
1. Refer back to your autumn observations of the tree. Review those notes first.
2. Pick a time to observe your tree each week. You may sketch the tree, take pictures and tape them in your notebook, or use combinations of words and illustrations to describe how your tree is changing.
3. Be prepared. The growth will not be steady. It may start slow and then completely surprise you with its speed.
As the weeks progress, I will post photos of our classroom tree below this text so we can observe its growth, or Spring Strains.
